Photos
We will have a photographer on the course taking picture of riders. Photos will be available at Micros on Macon for free, however, any
donations from the event photos will benefit the “LET THERE BE LIGHT” ROTARY SCHOLARSHIP
About the Scholarship.
Applicant must be a first generation college or trade school student (parents have not received an A.A or B.A./B.S. degree) attending college or a trade school with the goal of earning a certificate, A.A., or B.A./B.S. degree. The high school applicant must have a 2.5 GPA or higher.
The son/daughter of a member of Rotary is ineligible.
The applicant must fill out the attached form. Finalists will be interviewed by a scholarship committee as part of the application process.
This $1,000 scholarship will renew each year until certificate/degree completion as long as criteria are met and monies are available:
a. Be enrolled as a fulltime student.
b. Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher.
c. Provide the scholarship committee a college grade sheet/card every grading period.
d. Attend a yearly monitoring meeting with a scholarship committee member.
e. Present evidence of work being done in a timely manner toward a degree/certificate.
